My first contact with the hangings took place when I was little, one summer I spent in my grandmother's house. She was very fond of crafts, or work as they were called then. To distract myself in the hot Andalusian summer evenings, we were together rag dolls, cloth flowers and colorful striped rugs simple. Many years later, in the Faculty, after seeing in art history class collection of cartoons that Goya made for the Royal Factory, or the magnificent Gobelin tapestries in French, I remembered those summer evenings and decided to do a course where past I did with my grandmother claimed name: taffeta, Turkish knot, soumak ... Since then I've never been able to stop knitting. A self-taught, and above all unraveling and re-weaving, I have had the tapestry as a form of expression, as is the paint, where the support is the warp and the nuances of the color palette achieved with the transposition of wool, cotton or jute in the plot. These materials are in my tapestries along with other like shells, corks or wooden beads, which give each piece a volume and a texture closer to collage or sculpture, while making it a unique work. "

In 1998 showed for the first time my work, in a joint exhibition of handicraft center of the region of La Janda in Medina Sidonia.

The following year, also presented at the Art Gallery "San Pedro" in Arcos de la Frontera. That same year my first son and decided to devote myself fully to him and his sister, who arrived three years later. Why not quit my job completely and I did some commissions for individuals, and, I must confess that in some of the influence they transpired, and to "help" my kids. With the "helpers" more grown up, I'm trying to bring these two passions. I was able to retake the larger formats and introduce complexity in the designs and materials.

In this new era have participated in events like the Biennial of Textile Crafts organized by Caja Jaen, in its editions of 2005 and 2007, being selected one of my works in the latter, in Women's art competitions 2006 and 2008 organized by the Instituto Andaluz de la Mujer, in samples such as the Mediterranean Fair XXI in Algeciras in the same year and Crafts Contest VII within the framework of the XXIV National Crafts Fair ArteAvila 2007, also selected piece.

In June 2009, at the Youth House at Puerto Real (Cádiz), was presented a retrospective of my work.
